DUE TO COLD TEMPERATURES
Microwave pork rinds are ruined if they become frozen or remain in temperatures under 40 degrees. Therefore, we cannot ship microwave pork rinds during temperatures under 40 degrees. Since the possibility exists that they may be held overnight in a truck or warehouse on the way to you, and since we don't know how long it will take to get to you, we will wait till we have three days of temperatures above 40 degrees forecast before we will ship your order. (It's the night time temperatures that is usually the problem.)
That means that your order wil be delayed during cold weather. If you are not prepared to wait until we have at least three days of temperatures above 40 degrees, please do not order now. It could be Spring before temperatures co-operate in this regard.
Plus, our business will be shut down until March 5th because my family will be vacationing in Florida. During this time, even in the remote possibility that a window of opportunity should arise, we won't be able to ship your order.
However, if you are content to wait until after our vacation, and until Mother Nature co-operates, then you may go ahead and order now. After our vacation, we will monitor each day's forecast and send them out to you at the first opportunity. During the winter season it may take some time though. Be prepared to possibly wait until Spring. There will be no refunds for a delay in shipping.

OILY VS: DRY PELLETS
When manufactured, the pork rind pellets are covered with residual oil from the pig skin from which it is made. When packed into large cartons, the oil starts to slowly seep towards the bottom of the carton. Consequently, the pellets on top in the carton become dry and the pellets at the bottom become quite oily - literally dripping with oil. The pellets in the middle of the carton have various degrees of oil covering them.
So, if you order more than one bag of pork rinds, be aware that some may be covered in oil and others may be totally dry. This is perfectly normal and there is nothing wrong with the ones covered in oil. They all cook the same, taste the same and look the same after cooking.
We point this out to you in advance, so you won't think the oily ones have "gone bad". They are just fine. They all have a nine month shelf life without refrigeration.
